About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position as a Unit Aide requires performing various tasks to maintain a clean and organized environment in patient areas. Responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors courteously, assisting healthcare professionals, managing supply inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness of equipment and patient rooms. Additional duties involve transporting supplies and equipment, monitoring cleanliness and safety standards, and responding to inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $19.80 to $23.40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine tasks to maintain assigned work area for patient sanitation and neatness.
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a courteous manner.
- Check in deliveries and monitor linen supply and equipment inventory.
- Transport and maintain cleanliness of supplies and equipment following infection control procedures.
- Receive deliveries to replenish stock rooms and maintain orderly stock room conditions.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read, write, and follow simple written and oral instructions.
- Knowledge of department policies and procedures.
