About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading healthcare organization in Westchester County, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider Clinical Educator to support the professional growth, onboarding, and ongoing clinical development of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants across multiple service lines. This APP Clinical Educator will partner closely with medical staff, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to promote high-quality, evidence-based care and consistent clinical performance.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $185,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee clinical education programs for new and experienced APPs
- Lead onboarding support for incoming NPs and PAs, including coordination of onboarding checklists and milestones
- Collaborate with medical staff leadership to ensure appropriate credentialing and delineation of privileges
- Serve as an ongoing clinical resource and mentor for APPs seeking continued professional growth
- Deliver education using varied instructional formats, including live sessions, simulations, and digital learning tools
- Contribute to the development and revision of clinical guidelines, policies, and standards of care
- Participate in committees, workgroups, and organizational initiatives related to clinical education and quality
- Maintain familiarity with current clinical practice standards, including anatomy, pharmacology, diagnostics, and procedures
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
- Active New York State NP/PA license
- Prior experience in APP education, precepting, training, or professional development preferred
- Simulation-based education experience strongly preferred
- Active New York State NP/PA license
- Strong clinical knowledge and teaching ability
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple educational initiatives
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
