About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our client’s well-established, patient-centered gastroenterology clinic in Suffolk County, New York. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinical care and endoscopic procedures in a supportive, collegial environment.
The annual base salary range is $360,000 to $450,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders
- Perform outpatient procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (EGD), and related interventions
- Provide preventive care, including colorectal cancer screening
- Interpret diagnostic studies and pathology results
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR
- Adhere to clinical quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active or eligible for NY medical license
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory GI setting
