About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HIV Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our client in New York City’s mission-driven community health organization serving diverse and historically underserved populations, including the HIV and LGBTQ+ community. This is an opportunity to practice meaningful, relationship-centered medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment led by a thoughtful and approachable clinical leadership team. The annual base salary range is $125,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients living with HIV and other chronic conditions
- Evaluate medical and psychosocial histories and perform focused physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies relevant to HIV management
- Collaborate with supervising or collaborating physicians as needed for complex cases
- Provide patient education, counseling, and harm reduction guidance during visits
- Implement and reinforce infection prevention and control standards
- Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to support whole-person care

Job Requirements
- Licensed NP in New York State
- Prior experience in HIV care, infectious disease, or community-based primary care
- Comfortable working with LGBTQ+ populations and individuals with complex psychosocial needs
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice with autonomy
- Commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed care
