About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading healthcare facility specializing in dermatology and skin cancer treatment dedicated to delivering exceptional care to their patients. They are currently seeking a skilled and passionate MOHS Surgeon to join their team on Staten Island, NY As a MOHS Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of dermatological conditions and skin cancer. Your expertise will help our client’s patients achieve healthier skin, and your skills will be an essential part of their mission to provide comprehensive care.
The annual base salary range is $430,000 to $500,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct dermatological assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
- Perform MOHS surgery and other surgical procedures as needed
- Provide expert consultation on complex cases, including skin cancer management
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay current with advancements in dermatology and MOHS surgery
Job Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Dermatology
- Valid medical license to practice as a Dermatologist/MOHS Surgeon in NY
- Experience in dermatology and MOHS surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach
