About the Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Assisted Living Nurse Manager in the Bronx, NY to oversee the nursing and healthcare services within our client’s assisted living community. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality care for residents, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated leader with strong clinical skills and a passion for providing exceptional care to seniors.
The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing and caregiving staff, ensuring high standards of care
- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
- Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
- Monitor residents’ health conditions and collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of medical records
- Provide direct nursing care as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational healthcare regulations
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
- Investigate and resolve resident and family concerns related to healthcare
- Maintain infection control and safety procedures
- Serve as a primary contact for residents and their families regarding health concerns
- Participate in care conferences and provide updates on residents’ conditions
- Educate residents and families about medical conditions and care plans.
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum of 2 years in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare
