Nurse Manager

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading provider of high-touch, patient-centered urgent and emergency care, is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee clinical operations and nursing leadership across multiple Manhattan sites. This full-time position blends direct patient care with management and administrative responsibilities in a modern, concierge-focused outpatient environment.

The annual base salary range is $155,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including triage, assessments, and treatment within scope of practice
  • Perform clinical procedures such as: IV placement, medication administration, EKGs, rapid testing, and vaccinations
  • Oversee and support Registered Nurses across your region, ensuring high standards of care
  • Partner with leadership to improve workflows, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency
  • Lead staffing, scheduling, and hiring efforts for nursing teams
  • Monitor and manage clinical inventory, medications, and supplies
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nursing staff
  • Drive quality assurance, patient safety, and infection control initiatives

 

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York)
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of emergency/urgent care nursing experience
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience in hospital, ambulatory, or urgent care settings strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills—someone who thrives working closely with teams

 

Job Schedule

  • Full-time role, split between clinical and administrative duties
  • Availability to support team needs and occasional urgent situations
