About the Opportunity
Our client, a global leader in marketing and data-driven solutions, is seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee initiatives with multiple projects in parallel . This contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on project manager with deep experience in analytics and data environments, ready to drive multiple critical projects from conception through execution alongside technical and business stakeholders. This is a remote position that works EST hours.
The estimated base pay for this position is $55 to $70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of data and analytics projects—ranging from daily operations to complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Structure new business requirements into actionable project plans, set priorities, and align teams on objectives and milestones
- Lead projects through all phases, developing work breakdown structures, timelines, and clear deliverables
- Drive proactive issue resolution and monitor risks, ensuring goals are met on schedule and within budget
- Deliver frequent communication to stakeholders, steering committees, and sponsors; provide project updates and escalate critical issues when needed
- Partner with IT, business units, vendors, and analytics teams to translate requirements into BI dashboards, data products, and comprehensive reporting
- Oversee the implementation of Enterprise Data Hub solutions, monitoring report quality, data governance, and business adoption
- Champion process improvements that streamline project management practices and support productivity
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in analytics, data management, or master data operations settings
- Strong understanding of BI platforms, enterprise data management, and data governance practices
- Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors
- Hands-on proficiency with project management tools such as SmartSheet, JIRA, and MS Project
- PMP or other project management certification preferred
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability, analytical thinking, and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work remote on an EST schedule
