Spanish-Speaking Social Worker – Workforce Assessments (Hybrid)

About the Opportunity

Our client, a mission-driven workforce services provider in Brooklyn, is seeking a Spanish-speaking Social Worker to complete work-readiness assessments and support individuals navigating barriers to employment. This hybrid position offers meaningful impact with flexibility, and is ideal for a licensed clinician who excels at building trust, asking the right questions, and helping clients move forward with confidence.

The annual base salary range is $70,000 to $73,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive psychosocial evaluations to assess employment readiness
  • Use motivational interviewing to engage and empower clients
  • Identify barriers to work and develop practical, individualized recommendations
  • Document assessments clearly and in compliance with clinical standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to support holistic planning
  • Connect clients with community and behavioral health resources
  • Monitor progress and adjust recommendations as needed

 

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
  • Active NY license (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, or LMFT)
  • Experience conducting assessments
  • Strong engagement and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting
  • Spanish required!
