About the Opportunity
Our client, a top SaaS provider, offers real-time trading, portfolio, and risk management solutions for the global capital markets. They are seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join the growing accounting team in their NYC office.
The base pay range for this position is $35 to $50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Work heavily on month-end close
- Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position
- Deal with accruals and prepaid expenses
- Perform bookkeeping
- General Ledger
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- 3-6 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with month-end close
- FinTech experience a plus
