About the Opportunity
We are working with a leading investment firm across private equity, private debt, and real estate strategies. They are seeking a Private Fund and Syndicated Loan Closer in the Middle Office. The person in this role will be responsible for coordinating the settlement of loan products and securities within the private markets and financial services industry. Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate the settlement of loan products and securities in private markets
- Manage fund structures, SPVs, and tax blockers
- Handle specialized credit and lending products including Collateralized Loan Obligations, Project Finance, Loan Trading, and Derivatives
- Ensure compliance with Clearpar and LSTA settlement guidelines
- Manage distressed trading and settlements, bankruptcy reorganizations, and common debt amendments
- Interact with brokers and securities counterparts
- Utilize KYC and tax experience (a plus)
Job Requirements
- Knowledge in Accounting and General Ledger (a plus)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to escalate issues when necessary
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
- An entrepreneurial, driven, and proactive mindset
- Comfort in acting as the primary liaison between the front office and back office
