About the Opportunity
Our client, a patient-centered practice dedicated to providing comprehensive gynecologic care, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in Suffolk County, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with women’s health procedures.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $155,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough health assessments and routine gynecologic exams
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of women’s health and GYN conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory work
- Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate
- Perform in-office procedures such as IUD insertions/removals, Nexplanon insertion/removal, vulvar and endometrial biopsies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient health records
- Partner with a collaborative care team of physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
Job Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a women’s health or gynecology-focused setting
- Proven proficiency with common GYN procedures (IUDs, Nexplanon, biopsies, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient education and holistic care
