About the Opportunity:
The Echo Technologist provides specialized echocardiography services to patients, ensuring comprehensive assessments and accurate recordings. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining echocardiogram equipment, obtaining echocardiograms as ordered, and assisting with patient scheduling and positioning for optimal results. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $64.35 to $76.05 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain echocardiogram equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Conduct echocardiograms and create technical reports.
- Schedule patients, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging results.
- Collaborate with physicians to review and document test results.
- Ensure a clean and adequately stocked work environment.
- Perform clerical tasks, including maintaining department records.
- Develop and maintain high-level customer service with patients and staff.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of approved Echocardiogram Training Program and High School Diploma or GED.
- Echocardiography CCI or ARMS Echo Certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Technician with basic clerical skills.
- Effective oral communication and human relations skills for interacting with patients and clinical staff.
- Organization skills to manage equipment and supply inventories.
