About the Opportunity:
RN, ED ER positions in Utica, NY involve providing emergency care to patients across all age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This full-time contract position requires working in a 64-bed emergency department, managing cases related to stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. The shift is from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and creating comprehensive care plans.
- Providing emergency interventions and monitoring patient progress.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Utilizing specialty equipment like the rapid infusor and Arctic Sun.
- Floating to different units as required.
Job Requirements:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications with TNCC required in hand.
- Minimum of 2 years of ED experience with some pediatric exposure.
- Travel experience is required.
- Experience with the EPIC EMR system.
- Active NY RN License and verification of all RN licenses through NURSYS Report.
