About the Opportunity:
As an OB Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including those at high, moderate, and low risk. You collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care in the labor and delivery setting. This is a part-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.35 to $63.05 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized care plans for obstetric patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and families in labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor patient progress and document all aspects of care accurately.
- Stay informed on best practices in obstetric nursing and participate in ongoing education and training.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY ONLY).
- Two years of experience in labor and delivery.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification required.
- OR and triage experience highly desired.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
