About the Opportunity:
Opportunity to provide care for older adults in a long-term care environment as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This full-time contract position focuses on direct patient care, including medication administration and oversight of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) colleagues. The role requires good critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently while providing care with dignity and respect.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $26.40 to $31.20 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for geriatric residents.
- Provide medication administration and oversee CNA colleagues.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
Job Requirements:
- Valid LPN License (NY License ONLY).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Strong critical thinking and independent work skills.
