About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established outpatient primary care clinic in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their primary care team. This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse adult population. Fluency in Russian is required to meet the needs of the patient community. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering comprehensive care in a collaborative environment.
The annual base salary range is $110,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness visits
- Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans
- Build strong patient-provider relationships, with a focus on culturally competent care for Russian-speaking patients
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, health maintenance, and disease prevention
Job Requirements
- Current and unrestricted NP or PA license in New York
- Fluency in Russian is required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in primary care preferred (new grads with strong language skills will be considered)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
