About the Opportunity
Our client, a prestigious Financial Services firm headquartered in Manhattan, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Workday HRIS Analyst to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for leveraging data. The ideal candidate has experience maintaining and configuring Workday, building custom reports, and ensuring data integrity across HR and Finance functions. This position requires a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This role sits on-site in their NYC office 5 days a week.
The annual base salary range is $70,000 to $85,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and configure Workday to support time allocation workflows
- Build, customize, and automate Workday reports for HR and Finance teams
- Reconcile payroll data and investigate variances or trends
- Document methodologies and ensure audit-ready reporting processes
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve report templates
- Ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Compile datasets for financial models and presentations
- Support compliance efforts, including audits and internal reviews
- Stay current on Workday updates and apply new features to improve reporting
Job Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience in reporting or data analysis; HR or Finance exposure a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, HR, Finance, or related field preferred)
- Familiarity with Workday reporting and payroll systems preferred
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups); proficient in MS Office
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities
