About the Opportunity
Our client in New York City is looking for an organized and adaptable Receptionist to provide administrative support to their investment team and help keep day-to-day operations running efficiently. The role requires a minimum of two years of administrative experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting. Reporting to the Office Manager, this individual will also work closely with colleagues across multiple offices.
The base pay for this position is $25 to $30 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Fundamental Equities team
- Assist with general office operations including printer maintenance, handling deliveries, and maintaining pantry supplies
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
- Support the Office Manager with various administrative and organizational tasks
- Take initiative to identify and address office needs without direct instruction
- Assist with event set-up, meeting preparation, and other ad hoc requests
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role
- Highly organized with the ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach
- Self-starter who can take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
