About the Opportunity
Our client, a FinTech company in Manhattan, is seeking an experienced and highly analytical HR Project Manager to partner closely with the Recruiting and broader Human Capital teams on complex initiatives and operational projects. This role is essential in driving end-to-end project execution, improving HR and recruiting processes, and enabling data-driven decision making across the organization. The HR Project Manager will lead large-scale recruiting and workforce initiatives, own the firm’s sponsorship strategy, develop reports and dashboards for stakeholders, and support audits and data validation efforts. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, the ability to manage shifting priorities with minimal oversight, and a continuous-improvement mindset in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.This position follows a hybrid schedule.
The annual base salary range is $130,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with the Recruiting team to manage large-scale projects and operational initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality execution across recruiting and PMO priorities
- Own the firm’s sponsorship strategy and execution, from planning through delivery
- Analyze data to inform strategy, identify trends, and drive continuous process improvements
- Develop clear, actionable reports and dashboards for stakeholders
- Lead process re-engineering efforts to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and align HR operations with broader business objectives
- Collaborate across Human Capital and related teams to support audits, data validation, and reporting needs
- Manage ad hoc projects and requests, balancing shifting priorities with minimal oversight
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience managing HR or recruiting-related projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical insights
- Proven ability to drive process improvement and operational excellence
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfort owning projects independently while partnering closely with cross-functional teams
