Senior Receptionist

About the Opportunity

Our client, a prestigious financial services firm based in Manhattan, is seeking a polished and highly organized Senior Receptionist to support daily front-office and administrative operations. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for the firm, greeting guests, managing incoming calls, and maintaining a professional, welcoming, and impeccably maintained reception area.

The Senior Receptionist will play a key role in coordinating office logistics, including conference room scheduling and setup for senior-level meetings, supporting company events, and managing office inventory to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. Additional responsibilities include liaising with vendors, supporting facility’s needs, and providing high-touch administrative support to senior executives, including scheduling and occasional travel coordination. This is a fully on-site, high-visibility role ideal for a detail-oriented, service-minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused financial services environment.

The annual base salary range is $70,000 to $110,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support company events, including planning logistics, vendor communication, setup, and day-of execution
  • Sit at reception, greeting guests and answering phones
  • Manage office inventory by stocking the pantry, monitoring supply levels, and placing timely orders to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Oversee conference room management, including scheduling, room setup, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors
  • Provide support when needed to Senior level executives (booking travel arrangements and scheduling meetings)
  • Support the team with ad hoc administrative and operational projects as needed

 

Job Requirements

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Experience in Financial Services is highly preferred
  • 4+ years of office management experience is a must
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism and hyper-attention to detail
