About the Opportunity:
We are actively hiring Physical Therapist Assistants for multiple healthcare settings across all five boroughs of New York City. Opportunities are available in hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care environments.
These roles are ideal for licensed therapy professionals seeking flexible scheduling, consistent work, and the opportunity to treat diverse patient populations. Full-time, part-time, and per diem options are available depending on setting and availability.
The estimated base pay is $30 to $35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop or assist with individualized treatment plans
- Provide physical therapy services in accordance with care plans and clinical protocols
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the care team
- Document treatments, progress, and outcomes in the EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care goals
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, and functional strategies
Job Requirements:
- Active New York State license as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant
- Experience in hospital, outpatient, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings preferred
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Patient-centered, collaborative approach to care
