About the Opportunity:
This is a contract position for a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to provide comprehensive care to patients in a supportive healthcare environment. Responsibilities include attending to patient needs, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a comfortable and safe setting. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $12.65 to $14.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Document and report patient progress and any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
- Monitor patient health and vital signs regularly.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients.
Job Requirements:
- Must hold a valid GNA license.
- Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
