About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected financial services firm based in New York City, is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the firm’s investment professionals and broader team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the daily operations of the office, ensuring an efficient, organized, and welcoming environment for clients and staff.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage calendars, coordinate travel, and assist with general office administration. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls, support day-to-day logistics, and handle a variety of administrative responsibilities with professionalism and discretion. This role follows a hybrid work schedule and offers attractive benefits as well as a pleasant and supportive environment.
The annual base salary range is $75,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors by greeting them either in person or by telephone
- Answering the phones and referring to the appropriate department or person
- Support investment professionals with calendar management
- Maintain and stock office supplies
- Book travel arrangements including hotels and flights for domestic and international trips
- Distributing and overseeing incoming and outgoing mail
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
