About the Opportunity
Our client, a prestigious Financial Services firm located in Manhattan, is actively seeking a highly organized and experienced Administrative Manager to support a high-performing team while leading a group of administrative professionals. This is a hands-on, dual-role opportunity suited for a proactive, polished individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in financial services, proven leadership ability, and sharp attention to detail. This role sits on-site in their Manhattan office Monday through Friday.
The annual base salary range is $110,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate a high volume of meetings, ensuring optimal scheduling and preparedness
- Foster relationships with broker sales teams to facilitate effective meeting planning
- Manage calendars, screen for conflicts, and arrange necessary travel accommodations
- Oversee a team of admins, delegating and reviewing tasks as needed
- Collect and organize relevant research materials, including reports and models
- Arrange comprehensive travel logistics for portfolio managers and team members
- Process expense reports promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with operational departments to structure new hire training and oversee onboarding processes
- Develop a foundational understanding of key industries to enhance team support
- Acquaint with the organization’s technological infrastructure, investment philosophy, and risk management framework
- Participate actively in weekly business meetings to stay aligned with team objectives
Job Requirements
- A completed Bachelor’s degree is required
- 8+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Must have financial services experience
- Salesforce and Monday.com experience is a plus
- At least 1-2 years of management experience, managing a team of direct reports
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Must be open to working on site Monday-Friday
