Assistant Vice President, Platform Implementation Specialist

About the Opportunity

Our client, a dynamic financial technology provider in New York City, is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Platform Implementation Specialist to join its growing team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a driven implementation or project management professional to lead client platform integrations, collaborate across teams, and enhance the ongoing platform experience for strategic clients in the wealth management and asset management sector.

The annual base salary range is $115,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and support all phases of client platform integrations, from project planning and client discovery through process design, system configuration, testing, and final rollout
  • Independently oversee small and medium-scale integrations, while assisting senior leads on more complex projects
  • Serve as primary project manager—establish detailed project plans, manage risk, and drive accountability across both internal teams and external client stakeholders
  • Configure and implement client requirements, including white-label solutions and platform customizations
  • Manage and enhance the ongoing platform experience for existing strategic clients, maximizing platform adoption and satisfaction
  • Build strong client relationships and in-depth understanding of client operating models to inform platform set-up and feature utilization
  • Partner with Product Managers to identify product gaps and deliver new platform features
  • Proactively drive operational improvements and platform enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Relationship Management, and Operations to resolve platform issues and deliver high-quality client outcomes
  • Document and update procedures, workflows, client collateral, and playbooks to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6–10+ years of relevant experience in project management, client software implementation, operations, or relationship management, ideally within financial services or fintech
  • Demonstrated track record leading cross-functional project teams through all stages of implementation
  • Familiarity with software-based financial platforms such as transaction systems, online forms, or trading software
  • Exceptional written communication skills and experience writing detailed project, process, and business requirements documentation
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong data analytics abilities
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and effectively manage client relationships
  • Team-oriented mindset and interest in working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Understanding of wealth management or private banking operating models and processes, with exposure to alternative investments preferred
  • Experience with data integration projects a plus
