About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-regarded Manhattan firm, is seeking a Benefits and Compensation Manager with strong analytical skills to join their HR team. This individual will oversee benefits administration, liaise with vendors and employees, manage enrollments and retirement plans, and ensure timely processing of insurance premiums and HRIS/payroll transactions.
Key responsibilities include supporting annual open enrollment, conducting 401(k) reviews, analyzing compensation data, and creating salary and bonus models. The ideal candidate has Workday experience, a solid background in benefits and compensation, and a knack for data analysis and process improvement within a fast-paced environment. This position follows a hybrid schedule.
The annual base salary range is $90,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Functions as a liaison between benefits/insurance vendors and employees/partners for our benefit programs including ensuring benefit enrollments for New Hires, Life Event changes, HSA contribution changes
- Monthly/quarterly audit and processing of insurance premium payments
- Administers HRIS transactions, billing, and payroll administration
- Assists in the administration of the annual open enrollment for welfare plans
- Assists with special projects such as employee benefit seminars when necessary
- Monthly review and validation of 401(k) data and enrollments
- Manages the retirement plan administration for employees and partners
- Reviews and recommends salary placements for new hires.
- Provides analytical support and data analysis for annual comp process
- Creates models and projections for annual salary and bonus programs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience with Watson comp surveys
- 5-7 years exp. as a Benefits and Compensation Analyst
- Must have Workday experience
