Business Development Manager (Healthcare)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Healthcare Business Development Manager to join our client’s team in Westchester County! In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding their presence in the mental health industry.

* Opportunity to WFH 2 Fridays a month!

The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $130,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets in the mental health market
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including mental health clinics, hospitals, community organizations, insurers, and government agencies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative mental health solutions and services that meet the needs of clients and patients
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities in the mental health industry
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, contracts, and joint ventures to expand our reach and impact in the mental health ecosystem
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking functions to promote our mental health services and solutions
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management
  • Stay informed about mental health policies, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure adherence and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling messaging, materials, and campaigns to support business development efforts
  • Act as a subject matter expert on mental health trends, best practices, and innovations to support internal teams and client engagements

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare business development required
  • Must have experience in a private-pay space
  • Strong understanding of the mental health industry landscape, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and develop actionable plans
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
