About the Opportunity
Our client, a welcoming community hospital system in Northern New Jersey, is adding an experienced cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to its team. You’ll see patients in both the clinic and the hospital, and Spanish-speaking patients will be a big part of your day. The individual in this role must speak Spanish.
The annual base salary range is $145,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with the attending cardiologists, and take shared call alongside the on-call physician 1–2 days per week
- Provide cardiac consultations across outpatient and inpatient settings
- See patients at two practice sites within Northern New Jersey
- Use your Spanish fluency to build trust and explain care plans clearly to patients and families
- Coordinate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and the wider care team
Job Requirements
- An active New Jersey license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Fluent or conversational Spanish, which is required for this role
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing a varied cardiac patient load
- At least 2 years of cardiology experience as an NP
- AGNP-BC or FNP-BC certification (highly experienced cardiology PAs are welcome to apply)
- Warm bedside manner, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to juggle a busy schedule
