About the Opportunity
Our client is an established outpatient center in the Bronx and they are currently seeking an experience RN to take on the Director of Clinical Services role for their team. The individual is also expected to periodically visit their other New York locations. The annual base salary range is $130,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate nursing care of patients by completing standard assessments, developing, and implementing care plans and documenting information about patients
- Provide guidance and collaborates with the care team
- Be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the long-term and skilled care process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on established clinical practice standards
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery for the achievement of desired patient outcomes
- Provide oversight to nurse schedules
- Ensure that all aspects of nursing and clinical care comply with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Attend regular meetings with coordinators, prescribers, etc
- Provide leadership guidance to assigned managers and supervisors in leading their teams
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff
- Conduct physical/mental health assessments and screenings as required
Job Requirements
- Must be a licensed RN in the state of New York
- Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in management and leadership with knowledge of data management and analysis, budget, and staff development in order to supervise planning and implementation of care
- Must be flexible to adjust to the needs of a fast-paced environment, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, and display proficient oral/written communication skills
