About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-regarded financial services firm based in New York City, is seeking an accomplished Head of Human Resources to lead all aspects of the firm’s HR function. This executive-level role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that support the firm’s culture, operational goals, and long-term growth.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience within financial services and a proven ability to build and implement firmwide HR frameworks that drive performance, engagement, and compliance. This individual will oversee all areas of human resources, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, and policy creation. Working closely with firm leadership, the Head of HR will play a key role in shaping the organization’s people strategy, guiding a small to midsize HR team, and ensuring the firm’s values are reflected across every level of the organization. This role offers competitive compensation, and a collaborative, high-caliber environment.
The annual base salary range is $200,000 to $300,000. While the total compensation cannot be guaranteed, it can range between $250,000 to $350,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a framework for all HR-related operations
- Handle strategic efforts for the entire firm
- Create policies and procedures for grievances, conflicts, and problem resolution
- Schedule, attend, and document annual employee reviews
- Oversee and train a small to midsize team, while establishing and maintaining guidelines
Job Requirements
- 9+ years of HR experience
- Must have Financial Services Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is required
