About the Opportunity
Our client in East Meadow, NY is seeking an experienced IVF Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with specialized knowledge in fertility treatments and reproductive health. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fertility/IVF and will be skilled in delivering personalized patient care, managing treatment plans, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians, embryologists, and nurses. This role will involve direct patient interaction, including consultations, monitoring, and support throughout the IVF process.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $155,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and follow-up fertility consultations, assessments, and evaluations
- Develop and manage individualized IVF treatment plans for patients in collaboration with reproductive endocrinologists
- Perform ultrasound scans, including antral follicle counts, and monitor ovarian response to stimulation
- Educate patients on fertility treatment options, protocols, and medication administration
- Prescribe and manage medications related to fertility treatment
- Perform intrauterine inseminations (IUI) and assist in IVF-related procedures
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients throughout their treatment journey
- Monitor and interpret lab results, ultrasounds, and hormonal levels to ensure optimal treatment progression
- Participate in IVF retrievals and transfers in collaboration with the medical team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Collaborate with embryologists and clinical team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
- Stay current with advancements in reproductive medicine and IVF practices to deliver evidence-based care
Job Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in NY
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in fertility/IVF required
- Proficiency in performing ultrasounds and interpreting fertility-related diagnostics
- Strong knowledge of IVF protocols, fertility medications, and reproductive endocrinology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a strong emphasis on providing emotional support
