About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading international financial institution, is seeking a Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Lead to oversee and manage the U.S. Liquidity Regulatory Reporting (LRR) function in New York City. This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and governance of critical liquidity reports submitted to U.S. regulators. The Liquidity Regulatory Reporting team handles daily and monthly liquidity submissions, including comprehensive regulatory filings and internal liquidity coverage metrics. The Lead will manage the end-to-end reporting process, spearhead ongoing control-framework enhancements, and serve as the key liaison between Treasury, Liquidity Risk, and Finance teams.
The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $185,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the U.S. Liquidity Regulatory Reporting production team, providing hands-on guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight
- Oversee the full lifecycle of liquidity reporting—data preparation, validation, and submission—to ensure full compliance with U.S. regulatory standards
- Strengthen governance, control, and documentation frameworks surrounding liquidity reporting, ensuring transparent methodologies and clear audit trails
- Develop and implement procedures to analyze and explain material movements in liquidity data and key risk indicators
- Partner with Treasury and Liquidity Risk teams to interpret drivers of liquidity fluctuations and key data variations impacting internal and external reporting metrics
- Drive strategic process improvements and system migration initiatives (including integration into enhanced reporting platforms)
- Support audit requests, regulatory inquiries, and internal assurance reviews, providing detailed explanations of liquidity data flows and methodologies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced degree or certifications (CPA, CFA) preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in regulatory or financial reporting, ideally within a large financial institution or consulting environment
- Proven leadership experience managing reporting teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- Strong understanding of liquidity regulations, reporting processes, and governance frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of interpreting complex financial datasets
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, including experience collaborating with regulators and internal audit
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements and business priorities
