About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected healthcare provider in Brooklyn, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join their dynamic gastroenterology team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver patient-centered care across both inpatient and outpatient settings as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary group.
The annual base salary range is $85,000 to $105,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with gastroenterology physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Conduct specialized diagnostic tests and assessments for patients presenting with gastrointestinal concerns
- Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress and evolving needs
- Deliver patient education, including disease prevention and self-care strategies, to empower those you serve
- Maintain meticulous medical records using charting systems and documentation best practices
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to drive quality outcomes and efficient care delivery
- Ensure medical documentation of patient encounters, treatments, interventions, and results is consistently accurate and timely
Job Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State (required)
- Graduate of an accredited NP program at the master’s level
- At least 5 years’ acute inpatient experience
- 3+ years as an NP (preferably in GI, or in adult/family practice)
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued
