About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established, patient-centered private practice in New York City that is actively hiring an Outpatient Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The practice is dedicated to providing high-quality care in a friendly and fast-paced environment, and prides itself on fostering a supportive workplace where both the team and patients feel valued.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment plans
- Work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Build strong relationships with patients to promote long-term health and wellness
Job Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in NY and board certification
- 1-2 years of NP experience in an outpatient, primary care, or specialty setting
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
