About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our client’s dynamic healthcare team in New York City. As a Cardiology and Primary Care PA / NP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality cardiology care to their patients.
The annual base salary range is $110,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to accurately diagnose and develop treatment plans for cardiology conditions
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnostic procedures, treatment management, and follow-up
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests and imaging results, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations, to aid in diagnosis and treatment decisions
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, prescribe medications, and make referrals to specialists as appropriate for comprehensive patient care
- Provide patient education on cardiovascular health, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications to promote heart health
- Assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and pacemaker insertions, under the guidance of supervising physicians
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within the electronic health records (EHR) system, maintaining organized and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborate with nursing staff, and contribute to the overall patient care plan
Job Requirements
- FNP, AGNP, or PA in New York
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-centered approach
