About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established residential facility in Westchester, New York currently seeking a Nurse Supervisor to help oversee staff. The Nurse Supervisor will assist the Health Center Director of the Residential Services Medical program in efforts to provide quality medical services to campus residents.
Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing the operations and functioning of the facility relating to nursing, medications, and medical treatment
- Serving as liaison between administration, physicians, pharmacy, clinical staff, and clients
- Providing in-service training and education to staff and clients
- Maintaining medical safety standards
- Scheduling, supervising, and developing nursing staff
- Overseeing client care plans and the administration of client medications
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse License in New York State
- Previous nurse supervisory experience either in a residential or hospital setting
- Excellent communication, patient relations, and time management skills
- Previous pediatrics experience highly preferred
