About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading international investment management firm, is expanding its Credit Technology function and is seeking a mid–senior level Product Owner / IT Business Analyst to help drive the implementation and evolution of a new, enterprise-wide private credit platform. This is a newly created, high-visibility position reporting directly to the Head of Credit Technology. The role will play a central part in shaping the firm’s digital infrastructure supporting private credit investments — providing autonomy, collaboration, and direct impact across multiple business units.
The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Product Owner for the firm’s new private credit platform, overseeing end-to-end implementation, delivery, and ongoing enhancement
- Manage the rollout of new modules, ensuring successful integration, testing, and adoption across business and technology teams
- Partner closely with investment professionals, operations, and technology to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Oversee current implementations focused on core data and trading modules, including Security Master and Trade Capture, ensuring timely delivery and optimal functionality
- Post-implementation, lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experience, streamline workflows, and strengthen reporting capabilities
- Collaborate with data teams to support system integrations, reporting frameworks, and process automation
- Utilize SQL and database querying to validate data, support issue resolution, and drive data quality improvements
- Establish and document reporting standards, templates, and best practices across the Credit Technology function
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or IT Business Analyst within an asset management or private credit environment
- Prior experience implementing and managing third-party private credit systems (experience with platforms such as Allvue or similar highly preferred)
- Proven track record owning system implementations or new module deployments — beyond routine maintenance responsibilities
- Strong understanding of credit investment workflows, trade capture, and reference data management
- Hands-on proficiency in SQL and data querying to support technical troubleshooting and validation
- Exceptional skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Experience designing or standardizing reporting templates and dashboards from the ground up
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, global organization with competing priorities
