About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading global investment management platform, is seeking a Production Support Specialist to join their technology and operations team in New York City. This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting investor-facing technology, trading platforms, and core enterprise systems. The position provides direct exposure to business users and trading teams, with primary responsibility for client platform support and real-time troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.
The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary support contact for investors utilizing the firm’s client-facing technology platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues quickly, coordinating escalation for complex cases as needed
- Provide real-time support for trade-related issues during New York business hours, interacting with brokers, vendors, and internal trading desks to resolve order flow and execution problems
- Act as the key liaison for the New York-based enterprise technology team, partnering with London-based developers and other stakeholders for issue escalation and resolution
- Monitor and maintain core trading and risk management platforms to ensure ongoing stability and performance
- Collaborate across teams to implement solutions and drive operational excellence for all users
Job Requirements
- Experience in technology support within fast-paced financial environments; comfort with high pressure and quick problem solving
- Strong client service and interpersonal skills; proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams
- Technical experience with trading systems (EMSX, Flextrade, or similar EMS platforms)
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, Linux environments, and SQL Server required
- Experience with ticketing and collaboration tools such as Jira, GIT, and ServiceNow
- Flexibility with work schedule and ability to support after-hours escalation as needed
Preferred Skills
- Experience programming with Python
- Basic understanding of equities and options markets
