About the Opportunity
We are partnered directly with the CEO and CFO of a well-established manufacturing company with over 50 years of business. They are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team on the Queens/Nassau County border in New York. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous hands-on experience in managing the below accounting processes.
The annual base salary range is $105,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Report directly to the President/CEO
- Handle day to day operation of Accounting Department
- Be responsible for all Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Manage AP/AR functions
- Coordinate with the company’s external CPA firm on financial statements and tax filings
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in financial report writing with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable management
- In-depth understanding of technical accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively
