Senior Tax Accountant

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established insurance company with nearly 50 years of success, now part of a global holding group while maintaining its independent culture. They are in search of a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team in New York City. This newly created role sits on a small, collaborative tax team within a 50-person finance department, and is open due to a retirement. The position offers broad tax exposure, strong visibility, and partnership with a leading consulting firm. Known for low turnover and excellent benefits—including four weeks of vacation, 401(k) match plus contribution, and a hybrid schedule—this is a rare opportunity to join one of the industry’s most stable employers.

The annual base salary range is $115,000 to $165,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
