About the Opportunity
Our client, a global market leader in electronic trading, is seeking multiple Trading Operations Analysts to join their high-performance operations teams in Austin and New York City. These roles are critical to ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and integrity of the trading process, offering hands-on exposure to post-trade workflows, systems automation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration throughout the business.
The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades and positions, working across global markets and asset classes
- Collaborate with traders, finance, compliance, brokers, custodians, and clients to ensure timely and accurate trade settlement and recordkeeping
- Analyze, identify, and resolve post-trade discrepancies and minimize operational risk exposure throughout the trading cycle
- Partner with software engineers to enhance and automate operational workflows, supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Participate in the design and implementation of new system architecture, reporting controls, and data analysis projects to boost operational efficiency and scalability
- Communicate technical and workflow information precisely with both internal and external stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; quantitative fields (Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or similar) preferred
- 1–3 years of professional work experience; recent graduates with strong technical skills also considered
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and critical thinking abilities
