About the Opportunity
Our client, a healthcare organization in Monmouth County, is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Human Resources to lead their HR function and support the organization’s strategic growth. This executive will design and implement innovative HR strategies and programs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives within a large, dynamic healthcare setting.
The Vice President of HR will provide guidance to executive leadership, oversee all aspects of human resources management and promote best practices in HR operations. Key responsibilities include maximizing the use of the company’s HRIS platform, partnering with Finance on benefits administration, and maintaining strong relationships with external partners. The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader with a background in healthcare, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. This role is fully on-site five days a week. Please note, Healthcare experience is required!
The annual base salary range is $180,000 to $250,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives that support the organization’s overall business objectives
- Designing and implementing programs, procedures, training, onboarding, and guidelines that align the workforce with the company’s strategic goals
- Continuously evaluate human resources policies, programs, and practices to ensure leadership remains informed of industry developments
- Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership
- Oversee and support the effective utilization of the company’s HRIS platform
- Work closely with the Finance team to coordinate relationships with insurance brokers, carriers, benefits administrators, and other external partners
- Communicate and present information clearly and effectively to engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience managing a team in Human Resources
- Must come from the Healthcare Industry
- Experience supporting a large employee population/large organization
- Experience managing direct reports
- Bachelors Degree
