About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established primary care network in Westchester and Putnam counties that focuses on family planning, heavy prenatal panel, and gynecology. They are actively hiring a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in Mamaroneck!
The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $135,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Gynecology essential tasks
- Yearly exams-breast, pelvic, and pap smear
- Family planning
- Insertion and removal of IUDs
- Uncomplicated lower genital tract disease
- Breast exams in conjunction with mammography
- Breast self-exam instructions
- Premarital and sexual counseling
- Initial evaluation of menstrual disorders in young women and adolescents
- STD counseling
- Be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of common gynecologic acute and chronic healthcare issues
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs
Job Requirements
- NP or PA licensed to work in NY
- 1 year relevant clinical experience and dedication to providing quality healthcare services
