About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract position for a Dental Hygienist, focusing on delivering high-quality oral care and patient satisfaction in a team-based setting at a Brewster, NY location. Collaborate with dentists to meet patients' oral health needs, performing a range of clinical duties to maintain efficient dental office operations. Ensure exceptional customer service skills and work harmoniously with dental assistants and other team members.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $41.25 to $48.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) finalizes at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment when required.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education according to state-approved guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA & OSHA.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
- Manage inventory and orders as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- DH State license and X-Ray Cert required.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience operating GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
