About the Opportunity:
Provide essential dental care as a Dental Hygienist in a part-time contract position. Perform a high level of patient care and satisfaction within a team-based environment, executing various clinical duties for dental office operations. Maintain customer service excellence while collaborating with dentists, dental assistants, and office staff.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment as needed.
- Provide oral hygiene treatment and education as per state regulations.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Offer nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
- Order and maintain inventory.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- DH State license and X-Ray Certification required.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience operating GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
