About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy in Rome, NY. In this full-time contract position, you provide dedicated care in our state-of-the-art endoscopy department. You work four 10-hour shifts with flexibility, Monday through Friday. Engage in providing skilled support in rooms that conduct 12-14 cases daily on average. The role requires participation in six days of on-call duty per month, with potential weekend call.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.71 to $63.47 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for endoscopy patients.
- Provide specialized care during endoscopic procedures, maintaining a high level of expertise.
- Collaborate with general surgeons and gastroenterology doctors to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress utilizing the Paragon and Pyxis electronic medical record systems.
- Staying informed on the latest practices and techniques in endoscopic procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse with expertise in endoscopy.
- Experience in ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) required.
