About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the GI Lab at a leading healthcare facility, providing specialized care for endoscopy patients. This is a full-time contract position involving duties such as administering conscious sedation, managing dysrhythmias, and assisting with various endoscopy procedures. The position operates with shifts from 0730 to 1800, organized as four 10-hour days with no call or weekend obligations. Epic is used for charting, and professionals are expected to work in blue scrubs.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting endoscopy assessments and creating patient care plans.
- Providing pre-and post-procedure care, including conscious sedation recovery.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using the Epic charting system.
- Staying informed on the latest endoscopy practices and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- BSN with a valid CA License (temporary not accepted).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a GI/endoscopy setting.
- Skills in recovering conscious sedation, bronchoscopy, and administering sedation.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- First-time travelers accepted if required experience is met.
