About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position for a Radiologic Technician in Interventional Radiology involves conducting imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating vascular or non-vascular conditions. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating ionizing radiation equipment, and evaluating images for quality and accuracy.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $67.88 to $80.22 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting imaging assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing education on imaging processes and responding to questions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and manage patient examinations.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and imaging results.
- Staying informed on advanced radiologic technology and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- New York state license required.
- BLS certification required.
- ARRT certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology, 2 years preferred.
- Experience with EPIC, PACS, Siemens Artis-Q machines, and PURE Software preferred.
- Strong skills in communication and organization.
