About the Opportunity:
We offer a contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor & Delivery, focusing on providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. This full-time role involves responsibilities in L&D, Nursery, and Postpartum settings, ensuring comprehensive maternal and newborn care. The position demands a keen understanding of each phase of the birthing process, and proactive engagement with patients and their families to ensure comfort and safety.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating individualized care plans for each patient.
- Providing necessary education and support to mothers and families throughout the birthing process.
- Collaborating with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitoring and documenting each patient's progress and any changes in condition.
- Staying informed on the latest research and practices in maternity and newborn care.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum two years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, or Postpartum settings.
- Experience providing care in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
