About the Opportunity:
Join our clinical team as a Patient Services Representative in Brewster, NY, by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. This part-time contract position focuses on delivering personalized care in a welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health. You handle patient inquiries, make appointments, assist with completing treatment plans, and support staff and patients. You operate phones, manage the appointment book, and handle financial arrangements flexibly.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $19.25 to $22.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns.
- Answer telephones.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Follow up on no shows/cancellations.
- Register patients on sign-in sheets.
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
- Check voicemail daily.
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of Denticon experience in the dental industry.
- Experience answering telephones.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) preferred.
