About the Opportunity:
The Patient Services Representative provides a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. This role focuses on offering exceptional customer service, handling patient inquiries, making appointments, and assisting with financial arrangements for dental treatment plans. The representative is a support person for staff members and patients, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $19.25 to $22.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting customer service by acknowledging, smiling, and greeting patients upon arrival/dismissal.
- Responding to patient questions and concerns according to policies.
- Answering telephones and scheduling appointments.
- Maintaining and confirming the appointment book.
- Following up on no-shows/cancellations.
- Registering patients on the sign-in sheet and posting charges and payments.
- Checking voicemail daily.
- Maintaining a clean and friendly waiting area.
Job Requirements:
- Six months of experience with Denticon in the dental industry.
- Experience answering telephones.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO).
